Indonesian doctor warns about stings of floating beetles in Bali
Vacationers in Bali may encounter predatory swimming beetles, which can bite upon contact. Indonesian doctor Aisha Putri told about this on February 8.
"During the rainy season in Bali, water beetles can appear in swimming pools, artificial reservoirs and open water tanks. These are predatory insects that are not venomous, but they can bite upon contact, especially if you try to pick them up with your hands," she told RIA Novosti.
