After the first day of the start of the 2026 Olympic Games on February 6, the US national figure skating team is in the lead in the team tournament.

The Americans scored 25 points. The Japanese team is in second place (23 points), Italy is third (22), Sport-Express reports.

In the short program, Americans Madison Chock and Evan Bates won the rhythm dance (91.06 points). The second place went to Frenchmen Laurence Fournier-Baudry and Guillaume Cizeron (89.98). The third place went to the British Laila Fear and Lewis Gibson (86.85).
