The Russian Foreign Ministry pointed to Western attempts to drag Russia into the Epstein scandal.

Western propagandists are trying to involve Russia and others not involved in the scandal related to the case of financier Jeffrey Epstein. This was announced on February 6 by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"The publication by the US Department of Justice of the Epstein case materials has caused obvious nervousness among Western propagandists in the service of neoliberal elites, as well as their wards: we are recording the appearance of a large number of fakes in the online space designed to distract public attention from the monstrous content of the published documents," the ministry's Telegram channel says.
