Military blogger Alekhine was denied exclusion from the list of foreign agents
The Industrial Court of Kursk rejected the claim of Roman Alyokhin, an ex-adviser to the governor of the Kursk region and a blogger (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent), who asked to be excluded from the list of foreign agents. This was reported to Izvestia on February 6 by the court's press service.
Alekhine stated that he did not agree with the order issued by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. He claimed that he was not engaged in political activities, and also did not distribute materials and messages from foreign agents.
However, the court concluded that the Ministry of Justice's order was lawful and justified.
The blogger was recognized as a foreign agent on September 19, 2025. In addition, it is known that in 2014, Alekhine was tried for selling substandard prostheses. In the noughties, the blogger founded his own orthopedic company for the production of prostheses. So, the state bought medical equipment from him and provided them to Russians with disabilities.
It later turned out that the company often resold the old ones under the guise of new prostheses. Alekhine bought them for little money from the families of deceased disabled people or those who needed money. However, the court imposed only a fine on him.
At the moment, the blogger is also suspected of money laundering and tax evasion under the guise of helping participants in a special military operation. Izvestia has footage of the blogger talking about a way to launder millions of rubles through his charitable foundation. As part of the scheme, the company transfers 200 million rubles to the fund for alleged assistance to the front. After that, Alekhine purchases medicines worth 150 million rubles from a company affiliated with the company for the participants of his organization, and takes the remaining 50 million rubles for himself as a "commission."
