A bus with schoolchildren went into a ditch in the Leningrad region. Information about the incident appeared on social networks, reports 78.ru on Friday, February 6th.

The accident occurred in the village of Mukholovka, Lagolovsky rural settlement. Earlier, local residents complained that the road along which the transport was moving had turned into a continuous skating rink.

According to preliminary data, the children were not injured. They got off the bus on their own and waited for another transport. The temperature outside was -24 degrees.

"The bus did not slide into a ditch, but caught on a snowdrift. When leaving, an oncoming car took the wrong position on the road, and the bus shifted slightly," said Anna Ryadova, the principal of the school where the children were heading.

As the head of the educational institution noted, there were no scratches on the bus. There is no video surveillance on that site, so the driver did not have time to record the details of the accident. The school management contacted the administration in case it was possible to fix the car somewhere.
