20 natives of the Chechen Republic (CR) have returned from Ukrainian captivity. This was announced on February 6 by the head of the region Ramzan Kadyrov in his Telegram channel.
He noted that the work on the return of fighters from the region had been going on for a long time. According to him, the exchange took place with the assistance of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Kadyrov also posted video footage of released soldiers wrapped in Russian flags chanting "Akhmat is power." The circumstances under which the natives of Chechnya were captured are not specified.
