On February 6, the Deputy Secretary of the Public Chamber of Russia (CC RF) made a proposal to reduce the number of shops selling alcoholic beverages Vladislav Grib.

"We need to think about regulation to limit the number of alcohol markets in municipal areas and populated areas," Grib said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

It is noted that often in small towns the shopping infrastructure is reduced to a pharmacy, several alcohol markets and a grocery store.

On January 9, the Governor of the Vologda Region, Georgy Filimonov, announced that 610 alcohol markets operating in the region had closed, stopped selling alcohol, or had been redesigned. In addition, 218 of 316 vaping shops in the region have stopped working, Filimonov added.
