Golikova called the peoples of Russia her diamonds

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova called the peoples of Russia diamonds. She made such a statement on February 5 as part of the Russia — Family of Families Marathon at the Rossiya Science Center.

"[The peoples of Russia] are not just the wealth of the country, they are gold, they are diamonds, they are all the best things we have. And basically, when we talk like this, in simple language, when our guys talk about it, it's very cool," Golyakova said.

She also noted that the children's stories are very emotional, "it's memorable and I want to carry it on."

About 4 thousand young people representing more than 190 peoples of Russia, as well as foreign guests, participate in the marathon "Russia — family of families". The program of the event includes lectures, master classes, exhibitions and film screenings with the participation of statesmen, Heroes of Russia, famous athletes and cultural representatives.
