Russian goaltender of the Florida Panthers hockey club Sergey Bobrovsky reached 450 wins in the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season championships on February 5 following a meeting with the Boston Bruins.
It is specified that the Florida Panthers won the match with a score of 5:4. During the game, Bobrovsky deflected 25 shots out of 29, and also saved the team three times in the post-match shootout.
It took a hockey player to play in 793 games to achieve 450 wins, which is a new NHL record. Bobrovsky surpassed the result of three-time Stanley Cup winner Marc-Andre Fleury of Canada, who needed 816 matches for this.
