The Tver Region and Gazprom have confirmed their intentions to comply with their obligations under the Program for the Development of Gas Supply and Gasification in the region until 2030. This was announced by Acting Governor Vitaly Korolev following a meeting with Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee.

According to Korolev, the implementation of the program will make it possible to bring gas to every municipality in the Tver region. "There won't be a single municipality left without gas. All this will allow people to get affordable fuel for their homes and provide more comfortable living conditions. And, of course, gasification will attract additional investments and develop the region's economy," he said.

In the next five years, it is planned to gasify 28 settlements in the Tver region — about 28 thousand households. Currently, residential buildings and social facilities are being prepared for connection, and gas boilers are being installed in municipalities.

Also, as part of the program, a number of existing gas distribution stations will be retrofitted in the region, which will increase their capacity and reliability.

"All the activities of the program meet the needs of residents, the real sector of the economy, the implementation of new investment projects, and the development of housing construction," the press service of the regional government said.
