Three trains traveling to and from Voronezh were canceled due to ongoing work after the train derailed in the Tambov region. This was announced on February 5 by the Federal Passenger Company (FPC).
"Due to the ongoing work at the Kochetovka-2 station in the Tambov region, adjustments are being made to the movement of a number of FPC trains," the Telegram channel says.
It is specified that trains No. 65 and No. 738 traveling from Moscow to Voronezh, as well as train No. 739 in the opposite direction, were canceled. This decision was made to optimize the schedule and restore normal traffic as soon as possible. Passengers are invited to use alternative trains.
It was also reported that eight Tavria passenger trains traveling to and from Crimea were delayed due to a freight train derailment on the tracks in the Tambov Region.
The fact that the freight train cars left the tracks in Michurinsk, Tambov region, became known the night before. It was noted that the incident caused a gasoline fire. At that time, 47 firefighters, 20 pieces of special equipment and a fire train were involved in extinguishing the flames. A criminal case was opened into the incident.
