The Ministry of Health reported on the serious condition of children affected by arson in Krasnoyarsk

The condition of the victims of the arson of a school in Krasnoyarsk committed by a student is assessed as stably serious: the minors are conscious, but they are still being held in intensive care. This was announced on the morning of February 5 by the regional Ministry of Health.

"The condition of the injured minors at the school, who are being treated in the intensive care unit of the regional burn center, is currently assessed as stably severe," representatives of the department told RIA Novosti.

They clarified that the administration of the medical institution provided the parents of these patients with unhindered access to the intensive care unit. It is emphasized that all the injured children are breathing on their own.

A source from Izvestia reported a day earlier that three students had been admitted to the burn center of the Krasnoyarsk regional hospital, who were injured as a result of an attack by an eighth-grader. Later it became known that the number of victims had increased to six, and the schoolgirl who set the fire was detained.

Tatyana Shamsutdinova, Senior Assistant Prosecutor of the Central District of Krasnoyarsk, clarified at the same time that the detained girl was not on preventive health records and was positively characterized, up to the commission of the illegal act. On February 4, the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Krasnoyarsk Territory established an inspection of preventive work in schools in Kodinsk and Krasnoyarsk, it was emphasized that in the future similar procedures would be carried out in all schools located in the region.
