British scientist and theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking is mentioned more than 200 times in published documents in the case of American financier Jeffrey Epstein, accused of violence and human trafficking. Izvestia got acquainted with the files released by the US Department of Justice on February 5.

Investigations into the case of financier Jeffrey Epstein began in Lithuania and Turkey on February 3. It is clarified that, according to the published documents, the little girls from Turkey were brought to the island allegedly belonging to Epstein. However, the children did not speak English, which caused difficulties.

Epstein's files began to be published on December 20 last year, after US President Donald Trump signed a bill on their release on November 19 of the same year.
