The pump caught fire at a gas station in Moscow on Wednesday, February 4, and the fire was later extinguished, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the capital reported.

The fire occurred on Khamovnicheskiy Val Street, 40, building 1, the Moscow City News Agency reports.

An open gorenje was recorded at the scene, IA Regnum reports.

A fire at a gas station in the Khasavyurt district of Dagestan occurred on August 29, 2025. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Dagestan clarified in the Telegram channel that the fire started after the gas carrier's tank was depressurized. There was a threat of flames spreading to a private apartment building, but it was eliminated.

Later, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the open gorenje had been eliminated. As a result of the fire, a KAMAZ truck and a tractor were destroyed. The investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region added that a criminal case had been opened into violations of industrial safety requirements.
