Putin relieved Ivanov of the post of special representative for nature protection
Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed Sergei Ivanov from the post of special representative of the President of the Russian Federation on environmental protection, ecology and transport. The relevant decree was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on February 4.
"To dismiss Sergei Borisovich Ivanov from the post of representative of the President of the Russian Federation on environmental protection, ecology and transport," the document says.
In 2016, Putin dismissed Ivanov from the post of head of the presidential administration and appointed him his special representative. In the same year, Ivanov said that Putin was careful about personnel and was not in favor of unnecessary changes.
On the same day, the Russian President appointed Sergey Bazhutov and Sergey Tabelsky as Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation. It is noted that this decree comes into force from the date of its signing.
