A small child was injured while walking in one of the private kindergartens in Sevastopol. The circumstances of the incident are being established by law enforcement agencies.

The incident occurred on June 26, 2025, writes IA SevastopolMedia. A boy aged 1 year and 9 months is in a preschool in the Omega Bay area.

At some point, the child fell down the stairs on the playground. He was diagnosed with a broken leg, according to a press release from the regional prosecutor's office.

According to the Crimean Investigative Committee, the game element of the complex is intended for children from three years old. The investigators will have to evaluate the actions of the kindergarten staff, in particular, compliance with security measures.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 238 of the Criminal Code ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, as a result of which a minor was injured"). The investigation is under the control of the Prosecutor's Office.
