The head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, ordered the return of the possibility of paying in cash on public transport. Starting from Wednesday, February 4, passengers can again pay for travel with both cards and physical cash.

According to Aksyonov, the transfer of the Krymtroleybus company's route payment system to non-cash payment only was premature.

"I would like to draw the attention of managers at all levels to the fact that managerial decisions must be timely and taken taking into account the opinions of citizens," the head of the republic wrote on his social networks.

According to IA SevastopolMedia, Krymtrolleybus announced a full transition to cashless payment on February 1. Aksyonov's decision to return the cash was supported by many Crimeans in the comments.
