The Russian presidential aide added that the leaders agreed to intensify a professional dialogue, such as consultations between Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

"In general, in 2025, the leaders of the two countries communicated frequently and fruitfully, and such contacts, personal contacts, will naturally continue, and they will continue with no less intensity," Ushakov stressed.

He also recalled the 25th anniversary of the Russian-Chinese treaty on good neighborliness, friendship and cooperation, which will be held on July 16. As Ushakov pointed out, the document was automatically extended.
