Medvedchuk called Rutte's statement about troops in Ukraine a verdict
The statement by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte that Western troops will remain in Ukraine after the signing of the peace agreement has actually become a verdict. This was announced on February 4 by the head of the Other Ukraine movement, the former leader of the Opposition Platform - For Life party banned in Ukraine, Viktor Medvedchuk.
"Rutte's statement that NATO troops will be in Ukraine after the peace agreement means a verdict on these agreements, because then they cannot be reached, because NATO troops in Ukraine are unacceptable, based on the security interests of the Russian Federation, and Russia will never allow this," TASS quoted him as saying.
According to Medvedchuk, Rutte has voiced the formula "No peace, no war", which will lead to chaos, which will not bring anything good.
On February 3, Rutte spoke in Kiev in a half-empty hall of the Verkhovna Rada. At the time of his speech, the deputies went on a break, so only a few listened to him. At the same time, Rutte's visit to the capital of Ukraine was announced in advance.
During his speech in the Verkhovna Rada, the NATO Secretary General said that immediately after the conclusion of the peace agreement, the armed forces of those countries of the alliance that agree to this will arrive on the territory of Ukraine. According to him, those NATO members who will not send their armed forces to the country will help "in a different way."
