In Transbaikalia, elevators in the main children's hospital will be replaced for 20 million rubles

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, elevator equipment will be replaced at the main children's hospital. This is reported by the regional Ministry of Health.

The work will be carried out this year. It is expected that specialists will replace two elevators in buildings on Novobulvarnaya and Shilova streets.

"We have found funding to resolve this issue. This is a necessary update to improve the provision of medical care in the hospital," commented Oksana Nemakina, head of the Ministry of Health of Transbaikalia, quoted by ChitaMedia news agency.

Earlier it was reported that medical institutions in the Trans-Baikal Territory received 593 units of equipment in 2025. Nine paramedic and obstetric centers, five rural outpatient clinics and one district hospital have also been built in the region. In addition, 19 institutions were overhauled in Transbaikalia, and two more were scheduled for 2026.
