Zenit defeated Dynamo in the opening match of the RPL Winter Cup

Zenit Football Club defeated FC Dynamo in the first match of the Russian Premier League Winter Cup. The game took place on February 3 at the Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi and ended with a score of 2:1.

Alexander Erokhin and Brazilian Nino scored goals for the St. Petersburg club, while Fabricio Bitello scored for Dynamo. Congolese John John, who made his debut for Zenit, scored an assist.

At the end of the match, there was a conflict between the players, in which even the reserve players intervened. Zenit will play their next match on February 6 against Krasnodar, while Dynamo will face CSKA on the same day.
