Not all NATO countries are actively involved in the purchase of weapons for Ukraine from the United States. This was stated on February 3 by the Secretary General of the alliance Mark Rutte, speaking in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

"At the moment, some allies are doing a lot. Many allies are doing something, some are not doing anything," said the Secretary General of the alliance.

Speaking to the Ukrainian parliament, Rutte also noted that currently two thirds of the alliance's allies are participating in the PURL program. He noted that a more equitable burden-sharing within NATO is needed.

On the same day, Reuters reported that Sweden and Denmark had purchased $290 million worth of air defense systems for Ukraine. It was specified that Sweden will allocate 2.1 billion crowns ($235 million) for the purchase of Tridon anti-aircraft missile systems, and Denmark — about 500 million crowns (about $ 5.2 million).
