Alla Pugacheva's name was mentioned in documents published as part of a high-profile investigation into the case of American financier Jeffrey Epstein, according to the materials of the US Department of Justice.

A letter from Boris Nikolich, a venture capitalist and former chief adviser on science and technology at Bill Gates, was found in the archive. He was known to be a close associate of Epstein and was going to become one of the heirs to his business empire.

The letter mentioning Pugacheva was sent on January 13, 2014 and was titled "Mission accomplished for some." It was a complete reprint of an article from The Times called "Revealed: the world's most admired people," in which Pugacheva was mentioned as one of Russia's most respected women. The article noted that by 2014, half of the top 10 most respected people in Russia were women, including the singer.

The text of the letter was forwarded to Epstein without further comment, which could have been a hint or a joke in the context of their discussions.
