Nine-year-old Pasha Tifitulin, who was found murdered in a reservoir in the Leningrad region, was from a dysfunctional family and grew up without a father. This was reported on February 3 by a source of Izvestia.

It is noted that there were seven children in his family, while the family members have a dash in the "father" column. Also, the boy's sister and brothers were often ill and skipped school. One of the sisters was enrolled in the first grade in 2020 at the end of the school year, which was the main reason to leave the child for the second year, she had never studied anywhere before.

It is clarified that the boy himself did not attend an educational institution either — his mother wanted to enroll him in a local school, but did not provide the documents in a timely manner, after which she received a refusal from the school. In addition, the boy's family was visited by a social teacher, but this did not affect the mother's decision to enroll the child in school and submit the necessary documents.

According to the Izvestia source, Pasha's family was starving, and his parents were supporting themselves with temporary jobs. At the same time, all the children, according to his information, were from the same father, but he did not live with the children. At the same time, the family did not know that the boy was wiping the headlights in parking lots. In addition, according to him, nine-year-old Pasha has never gone to school in all his years of life.

On that day, it was reported that the body of a nine-year-old boy with his legs tied was recovered from a frozen reservoir near the Lower Shingersky Waterfall. Local residents noticed the child's clothes and his briefcase, noticing them under the ice. A volunteer who participated in the search for the missing man also told Izvestia that the boy's body was bound with duct tape in the area of his arms, legs and head.

Prior to that, the search for a child who had left home continued for several days in St. Petersburg. On the fact of the incident, the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia opened a criminal case under the article "Murder of a minor."

Shortly after, Peter Zh., a suspect in the abduction of a child. He confessed that he had drowned the boy in a local pond. At the same time, he had previously offered children a ride in his car for money and had a criminal record. According to preliminary information, the crime was caused by blackmail — the materials allegedly used by the boy to threaten him were found on the man's computer. It is noted that the suspect and the child were familiar, and the boy helped the man more than once, including washing his car.
