The Iveco truck that transported the modular house that caused the fatal accident on the highway near Krasnoyarsk probably had a homemade trailer mount. This was announced on February 2 by the correspondent of Izvestia Vladislav Tamoshauskas.

"Apparently, the trailer structure itself couldn't stand it — it was literally torn in two halves...> The part was left on the car, there are welding marks on it. Most likely, it is homemade," he said.

In addition, the collision caused the Gazelle minibus, which was transporting future students of the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) school, to turn over on its side. All his windows were blown out.

On the same day, a source from Izvestia reported that five people were killed and six others injured in an accident on the R-255 Sibir highway in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The reason was a modular house that detached from the trailer of a truck and collided with a bus. According to law enforcement agencies, there were 13 people on the bus, 11 of them children.

On February 2, the Prosecutor's Office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory organized an accident investigation. A criminal case has been opened under Part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles that negligently caused the death of two or more persons"). Investigators are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
