Dmitriev called for investigation of Gates' work with vaccines after Epstein case
Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special presidential envoy for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, called for an investigation into Microsoft founder Bill Gates' work in the field of vaccines after publications about his ties with financier Jeffrey Epstein.
"Bill Gates' activities regarding vaccines should be investigated, and his role should be limited," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
He claimed that Gates, using his foundation and control of vaccination alliances, blocked safe vaccines such as Sputnik and promoted untested drugs.
Dmitriev also referred to the joint work of Gates and Epstein on the "simulation of a pandemic strain" in 2017, which, in his opinion, requires additional verification.
Epstein's files began to be published on December 20, 2025, after US President Donald Trump signed a bill on November 19 of the same year to make them public, although the first part of the documents, containing the names of more than 150 people involved in the financier's case, was published in January 2024.
Later, on January 8, 2025, it became known that the declassified materials mentioned Russian girls who had not reached the age of majority. According to information from the website of the US Department of Justice, one of the parties on the financier's yacht was attended by a 15-year-old girl from Russia, and the other was already attended by a 16-year-old Russian woman.
On January 30, The Daily Telegraph learned about the references to Bill Gates in the Epstein case, whose representative later denied information about the sexually transmitted disease (STD) received by the entrepreneur at Epstein's villa.
