Samara Football Club (FC) Krylia Sovetov has fully repaid its debt to RT-Capital, a subsidiary of Rostec State Corporation. This was announced on February 2 by the team's press service.

"In total, the total amount of funds brought to the company on account of debt obligations over the past year amounted to almost 1.1 billion rubles. This was achieved thanks to the extra—budgetary support and the club's own funds," the FC Telegram channel says.

Dmitry Yakovlev, Chairman of the club's Board of Directors, said that the debt that had accumulated over the past 10 years had been repaid thanks to the support of fans and a strategic partner, Solidarity Bank. To pay off the last part of the debt, a loan was issued, which is expected to be closed within a year.

"Today we have signed a loan agreement with the Solidarity Bank to pay off the last part of the debt. It is designed for a year and we expect to close it in equal parts during this period," Yakovlev said.

The club also promised to double every amount transferred by fans to repay the debt, and send these funds to charity.

In December last year, the Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP) initiated enforcement proceedings against Krylia Sovetov to recover almost a billion dollars in debt. It is based on the writ of execution of the Moscow Arbitration Court dated November 6. The amount of debt to be recovered from the football club in favor of RT-Capital exceeded 928 million rubles.
