The Department of Rospotrebnadzor in Moscow issued an order to suspend the sale of fish in the Krasnoe i Beloe chain store after spreading information about the discovery of mercury in products, the press service of the regional department reported on February 2.

It is clarified that earlier information appeared in the media, presumably, about the discovery of mercury in fish products of the Sukhogruz trademark, which were sold in Krasny and Bely along Pilot Ulyanin Street in the Vnukovskoye settlement.

"Alfa-M LLC has been issued an order to suspend the sale of potentially dangerous food products of the Sukhogruz trademark," the Rospotrebnadzor Telegram channel says.

The ministry added that after the information was disseminated, an on-site inspection was organized with sampling of food products for laboratory testing. Rospotrebnadzor stressed that the situation is under strict control.

Before that, in December 2025, a child in Moscow almost got poisoned after taking a sip of lemonade with the name Aloe Vera, bought by his father at a grocery store.

On January 30, Rospotrebnadzor completed an inspection of the producer of the drink "Velta-Penza" and agreed on a plan of corrective measures. Velta-Penza, in turn, reported that Aloe Vera does not contain any harmful chemicals, and the company itself interacts with authorized government agencies.
