The court commuted the sentence for 2 and 3 months to doctors Sushkevich and Belaya

Doctors Elina Sushkevich and Elena Belaya had their sentences commuted by 2 and 3 months, respectively. This was reported on February 2 in the press service of the First Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction.

"The verdict of the Moscow Regional Court has been changed. In accordance with part 2 of Article 61 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the presence of a minor child was recognized as a circumstance mitigating the punishment of Tatur (Belaya) for the crime committed; the sentence imposed was commuted to 9 years and 3 months; the sentence imposed on Sushkevich was commuted to 8 years and 10 months in prison," the press service said, as quoted by RIA News".
