The Moscow Prosecutor's Office has approved charges in the case of money laundering against blogger Huseyn Hasanov. This was reported on February 2 in the press service of the department.

"The indictment in the criminal case has been approved by the Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Administrative District. Hasanov is charged under clause "b" of Part 4 of Article 174.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Legalization (laundering) of funds acquired by a person as a result of committing a crime")," the Telegram channel says.

It is specified that the criminal case has been sent to the Presnensky District Court of Moscow. A preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen in absentia against the blogger.

Earlier it became known about the completion of the investigation of the criminal case against Hasanov.

In November last year, the Russian authorities again put Hasanov on the wanted list. The blogger was first put on the wanted list on May 14, 2025. Later, Dmitry Kozyakin, the blogger's lawyer, said that Hasanov was considering returning to Russia.

On October 15, 2024, the Moscow Arbitration Court granted the claim of businesswoman Yulia Milchenko for the recovery of 10 million rubles from the former company of blogger Huseyn Hasanov, Banda LLC. The claim of the individual entrepreneur Milchenko against the Moscow company was filed in early July.

Earlier, in June of the same year, the Federal Tax Service (FTS) filed a lawsuit against Hasanov for debts in the amount of 144.8 million rubles. Later it became known that the blogger had paid off the debt owed to the agency. In this regard, on September 5, the Arbitration Court of the capital terminated the proceedings in the case.

Hasanov has repeatedly been involved in scandals, including those related to his love of reckless driving. For example, in July 2021, the Nikulinsky Court of Moscow fined him 30,000 rubles and deprived him of his driver's license for a period of one year and six months.
