Rox 01 crossovers will be launched in Russia in the spring.

In Kaliningrad, the Avtotor plant plans to begin assembling crossovers from the Chinese company Rox Motor in the spring of 2026. This was reported on February 2 by Rossiyskaya Gazeta with reference to a joint statement by representatives of the Russian company and Sinomach Auto Concern, the official importer of Rox Motor in the Russian Federation.

The Rox 01 crossover and its modified version called Rox Adamas will be on the assembly line. It is stated that at the first stage, the start of production in Kaliningrad will begin on the basis of welded and painted bodies.

Sales of imported Rox 01 crossovers began in Russia in February last year. Currently, the model is offered in two trim levels at a price of 8.35 million and 8.51 million rubles.

The Italian studio Pininfarina was responsible for the design of the Rox crossover. The model is equipped with a hybrid power plant: the 1.5 petrol engine is not connected to the wheels and acts as a generator. The total power of the two electric motors is 476 hp (740 Nm), they are powered by a CATL traction battery (56 kWh). Up to "hundreds" of cars weighing more than 2.5 tons accelerate in 5.5 seconds. The power reserve is 1,362 km according to the Chinese CLTC cycle.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that sales of a new modification of the Geely Atlas crossover will begin in Russia. In the new front-wheel drive version, it is equipped not with a two-liter 200-horsepower engine, as before, but with a less powerful 1.5-liter unit.
