The VI Sustainable Development Forum will be held in Kamchatka from 17 to 21 February.

For the sixth year in a row, the Kamchatka Territory has been the initiator of a major interregional forum bringing together experts from a number of industries. The business program of the VI Sustainable Development Forum will be held from February 17 to 21, 2026 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. In total, more than 40 business events will be held under the auspices of the forum in three thematic blocks: economy and investment, architecture and integrated territorial development, tourism and hospitality.

The VI Sustainable Development Forum is a network event of the International Travel Forum "Travel!", the main national event in the field of tourism. The event is one of the main business events in the Far East. Last year, the forum brought together more than a thousand people from 21 regions of Russia and representatives of foreign businesses. The Government of the Kamchatka Territory is supported in organizing the forum by the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District and the Roscongress Foundation.

Within the framework of the architectural track, panel sessions and round tables are scheduled on the exchange of best regional practices in the field of creating competence centers, the formation of projects for the integrated development of territories, and the implementation of master plans for the development of Far Eastern cities. Special attention will be paid to landscaping issues in the implementation of urban development projects. The program also focuses on the principles of involving residents in territorial development projects and tools for receiving feedback.

In the field of tourism and hospitality, the forum program includes more than 20 business events dedicated to the exchange of experience on a wide range of issues. These include the development of cruise and all–terrain tourism, the secrets of the success of event tourism, and trends in the development of popular science tourism. The focus is also on the development of tourist infrastructure – transport, hotels, hiking trails. A number of sessions are devoted to topical issues of marketing and promotion of territories and businesses.

Finally, the topic of economics and investments covers business events, primarily focused on improving the investment climate in the regions. Among the areas to be considered are government support for investment activities, the practice of development institutions, a strategy for attracting private business funds to the economy and social sphere of municipalities, and other topics.
