MLRS Grad crews destroyed the Ukrainian Armed Forces strongholds in the Kharkiv region

Calculations of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) "Grad" of the rocket battery of the 27th Guards separate Sevastopol Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Zapad group of forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, while performing combat missions, destroyed military equipment and strongholds with manpower of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of a special military operation (SVO) in Kupyansky district of Kharkiv region. This was announced on February 2 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is noted that intelligence on the location of a significant concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel was transmitted to the gunners by operators of reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). After that, the soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces moved forward to the operational destruction of targets, which was carried out using volleys of 122-millimeter rockets.

Having successfully completed the task, the crews left their firing positions and camouflaged their guns on the site equipped for this purpose.

"When we arrive at the position, we shoot back, try to do everything quickly, clearly, smoothly, quickly turn off and leave. <...> The car is good, in general it has never failed in a long time," said the driver of a combat vehicle with the call sign Wolf.

A day earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the destruction by calculations of towed M-46 howitzers of the 30th motorized rifle Regiment of the 44th Army Corps of the North group of forces of firing positions, UAV control points and concentrations of Armed Forces personnel in the area of a special military operation in the Sumy region. A native of Abkhazia, the commander of the M-46 towed cannon firing platoon with the call sign Yenisei, talking about the operations, clarified that he and his comrades-in-arms were supporting the infantry at the moment when the assault was being carried out.
