Over the past day, 17 class M and higher flares have been recorded in the sun. This was announced on February 2 at the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy at the Institute of Space Research (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
"There is exceptionally intense spam in solar flares. Over the past day (Moscow time), 17 strong outbreaks have been registered — level M and higher," the Telegram channel said.
