On February 1, the chairman of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration in Ukraine, Vitaly Kim, said that the country was exhausted due to the conflict and doubted the possibility of holding out for another four years.

"We are exhausted, and first of all, it's not about weapons, not about missiles, but about people. We have only 40 million people, and everyone is exhausted. Our soldiers will not be able to continue the conflict for four to ten years," he said in an interview with the British newspaper Independent.
