The International Olympic Committee (IOC) does not have a specific schedule for the admission of Russians to the competition. This was announced to journalists on February 1 by the head of the organization Kirsty Coventry.

"There is no timetable," TASS quoted her as saying.

At the same time, she stressed that at the 2026 Olympic Games, the relevant processes will take place in the same way as at the previous Olympics in Paris.

Earlier, on January 28, it became known that 13 Russian athletes who will compete in neutral status will participate in the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy. The team included figure skaters Adelia Petrosyan and Peter Gumennik, short-track skaters Alyona Krylova and Ivan Posashkov, skiers Daria Nepryaeva and Savely Korostelev, speed skaters Ksenia Korzhova and Anastasia Semenova, ski mountaineer Nikita Filippov, luge skiers Daria Olesik and Pavel Repilov, as well as skiers Semyon Efimov and Yulia Pleshkova.
