The Foreign Ministry warned the Russians about the dangerous situation in Chile

On February 1, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) reported a high crime situation in Chile, where attacks on foreign citizens, including Russian tourists, have become more frequent.

"When planning a trip to the Republic of Chile, it is necessary to take into account the high crime risk in the country. This primarily concerns the city center of Santiago," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.

The Russian Foreign Ministry urged citizens to take precautions, avoid unsafe areas and carefully plan trips around the country.
