On February 1, the US Department of Justice published on its website a new batch of documents related to the correspondence of the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. In some personal messages, the attacker, who was convicted of serious crimes in the United States, mentioned the victory of Vladimir Zelensky in the presidential elections of Ukraine in 2019, corruption and the political situation in the country.

According to declassified materials from the US Department of Justice, Epstein advised one interviewee to start monitoring Ukraine's politics, in particular Zelensky's activities, parliament, and what he called "corruption" in the country.

"I want you to start reading about politics in Ukraine: Zelensky, corruption, parliament. Start following this," RIA Novosti quotes the text of the correspondence.

In one correspondence dating back to the summer of 2019, the financier even planned a trip to Ukraine immediately after Zelensky's election victory.

On the same day, it became known that Macron conducted business with Epstein through his associate Sulayem back in 2016. The letters, dated 2018, indicate that Macron, already as president, turned to Epstein and other figures for help in developing policies for France and Europe.
