The Zhytomyr regional territorial Recruitment Center (TCC, an analog of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) justified on February 1 the shooting of an employee at civilians allegedly threatening his life. This was reported on February 1 by the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".

"Due to the real threat to his own life and health, the serviceman was forced to use a personal noise device by firing a single shot into the ground <...> An internal audit was initiated in order to legally assess the actions of all parties to the conflict," the Telegram channel said.

According to the attached message from the shopping center, the man who was stopped to check his documents was wanted and "behaved aggressively." In addition, passersby joined the conflict, allegedly pushing the employees of the shopping mall and grabbing them by their clothes.

The day before, an employee of the military enlistment office in Ukraine resorted to the use of weapons during a quarrel with civilians living in the Zhytomyr region. It is noted that this is how a representative of the military enlistment office reacted to an attempt by a policeman who arrived at the scene to break up the brawl.
