Three people died in a fire that occurred at the Babik recreation center in the Baysky district of the Republic of Khakassia. This was reported on February 1 in the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations.
"On the night of February 1, a fire occurred in the Babik tract of the Baysky district of Khakassia. By the time the fire brigades arrived, the guest house was destroyed by fire on an area of 72 square meters," the message on the Telegram channel of the special service says.
It is reported that during the dismantling of the rubble after the fire, three dead men were found. In addition, one young man born in 2005 was injured.
The department's investigators are investigating the causes of the fire.
The day before, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kemerovo region reported the death of five people in a fire that occurred in a private sauna in the city of Prokopyevsk. It was clarified that one girl managed to run out of the building.
A criminal case has been opened into the incident under Part 3 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life or health of consumers"). Later, the fire in the sauna was completely extinguished by the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
