Trump announced the termination of aid to cities controlled by the Democratic Party
On January 31, US President Donald Trump announced that federal forces would stop helping to suppress protests in cities controlled by the Democratic Party.
"I have instructed Secretary of Homeland Security Kristy Noem that under no circumstances will we participate in protests and/or riots in various poorly run cities controlled by Democrats, unless and until they themselves ask us for help," the publication says in Truth Social.
He clarified that the federal buildings that will be attacked will be "very effectively" guarded by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
CNN reported on January 31 that protests by U.S. residents against the activities of ICE have spread to all corners of the country. It was noted that protests in Minnesota have been going on for the second week due to the murders of two residents by federal agents. At the same time, on January 30, tables were empty in restaurants across the country before the weekend, and shop windows were closed due to strikes.
