Musk called for arrest of at least one Epstein client amid allegations
Amid allegations of links with the infamous Jeffrey Epstein, American entrepreneur Elon Musk announced the need to arrest at least one client of the financier. He announced this on January 31.
"It is important not so much to make public some part of the documents on the Epstein case, as to bring to justice those who committed terrible crimes with him. When at least one arrest is made, justice will prevail at least partially. Otherwise, all this will be just a show—off and a distraction," Musk wrote in X (ex. Twitter).
The post was later deleted.
The day before, The New York Times (NYT) reported that Musk had been corresponding with Epstein for several years, despite denying such communication. The NYT has reviewed new documents from the US Department of Justice, which provide details of these contacts.
