- Zakharova commented on the dismantling of Russian inscriptions on the war memorial in Kiev.
On January 30, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on the dismantling of inscriptions in Russian from the Motherland monument in Kiev, saying that the Kiev regime had removed the letters "for its epitaph."
Earlier, the Museum of the History of Ukraine during World War II dismantled the Russian-language inscription "Their exploits will live forever, their names are immortal," calling it "unacceptable" and "propaganda."
"Apparently, I didn't have enough letters for my epitaph," Zakharova commented on the Telegram channel.
On January 28, Zakharova, in connection with the demolition of the monument to the Red Army soldiers who freed the prisoners of Auschwitz, recommended to the President of Poland to re-read the article by Russian President Vladimir Putin "75 years of the Great Victory: shared responsibility to history and the future," published in 2020.
