The teacher of a private kindergarten in the Academic district of Yekaterinburg, who forgot her child on the street while walking, was fired on the same day. The director of the preschool informed Izvestia about this on January 30.

"We count the children on the street, we count them when we come in. I went in first, and the teacher is next. This is the first time we have had such a situation. The teacher was fired," she said.

According to the headmistress, the girl, who was forgotten on the street, spent several minutes alone. According to her, the parents reacted to the situation with understanding and have no complaints.

On the same day, a local resident found a child sitting in a snowdrift. She took the girl to kindergarten and saw that the group had recently returned from a walk. According to her, an employee of the institution grabbed the pupil and slammed the door in front of her. According to the woman, the girl sat in the snow for about 10-15 minutes.

In November last year, it became known that a kindergarten teacher in Gorodets, Nizhny Novgorod region, had been abusing children for more than 25 years — all this time, local residents had repeatedly tried to bring her to justice. According to the victim's mother, she attended the same kindergarten herself. Even then, the teacher practiced ambiguous parenting methods: she forced the child to stand on the tiled floor in his underwear as punishment for not being able to sleep in a quiet hour.
