The building of the former Main Post Office in St. Petersburg was sold at auction. This was announced on January 30 on the website of the electronic trading platform of the Russian Auction House (RAD).

The winner of the bidding was LLC "Energy Interregional Holding Association" (EMHO). The building with an area of 13.7 thousand square meters and a land plot of 7.4 thousand square meters, located at 9 Pochtamtskaya Street, liter A, was put up for sale in November 2025 with an initial price of more than 1.2 billion rubles.

It is specified that the total amount was 1.27 billion rubles. The building is an object of cultural heritage of federal significance.

Earlier, on January 28, it was reported that a 19th—century mansion located on Marjani Street in the Vakhitovsky district, the Old Tatar Settlement of Kazan, which was seized from director Timur Bekmambetov by court order, was put up for sale - the starting price of this object, placed for purchase at an electronic auction, is 9.3 million rubles.
