Sellers at the Shanghai market did not recognize Nvidia president Jensen Huang.
Sellers at the seafood market in Shanghai did not recognize one of the richest people in the world, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, who went there to shop, the South China Morning Post reported on January 30.
The billionaire visits the organization's offices in China every year on the eve of the Chinese New Year, after which he travels to Taiwan. During his new visit, Huang went to the Shanghai market, where he bought chestnuts and candied hawthorn. The purchase for 65 yuan (708 rubles) was paid for by a businessman's assistant using a QR code.
"I didn't recognize him (Nvidia's president. — ed.) at first. A lot of people gathered around and took pictures, then I realized that it was Jensen Huang," the seller said.
