Rock climbing was banned in the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park
A climbing ban has been imposed in the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park. It is valid from December 1, 2025. The goal is to ensure the safety of people when visiting specially protected natural areas.
You can only visit well-maintained routes, the passports of which have been approved by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation. Thus, walks are allowed only along three tourist routes and four ecotropics located in the recreational area of the national park.
KrasnoyarskMedia News agency lists the places allowed for tourists to visit: These are the "Nature — the Great Sculptor" route, the "Laletinsky" route, the "Legends of Takmak" route, the "Nature and Climate" ecotrope, the "Book of Nature" ecotrope, the "White Trail" ecotrope and the "Reserved Siberia" ecotrope.
All routes that are not approved, including rock climbs and sections that are located in the buffer zone and in the Wild Pillars area, are prohibited.
Earlier it was reported about the resumption of the search for the Usoltsev family in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Rescuers will conduct repeated search operations in the village of Kuturchin, Partizansky district, starting on January 30 in order to locate the missing family.
On January 19, Serafima Choodu, a representative of the press service of the LizaAlert regional detachment, said that volunteers would return to the large-scale search for the Usoltsev family in the taiga of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the spring. The timing of the onset of climatic spring in the Krasnoyarsk Territory varies by region and generally falls on the period from the end of the first decade of April to the end of May.
