The US President's Special Envoy for Ukraine, Steven Witkoff, has good news. This was announced on Thursday, January 29, by the head of the White House, Donald Trump.

"Steve Witkoff, who has some pretty good news," he introduced his special envoy during an event held at the White House.

Trump did not specify what kind of positive information Witkoff has.

On the same day, journalists who are part of the American presidential pool saw Witkoff handing a note to White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. The message, according to press representatives, mentioned the name of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump, speaking about maintaining his confidence in the possibility of resolving the Ukrainian conflict, on January 29 noted the hard work of Witkoff and his son-in-law, entrepreneur Jared Kushner, on this issue.
