The Second Western District Military Court sentenced a resident of the Ryazan region to 18 years in prison for preparing terrorist attacks ordered by Ukraine. This was reported on January 29 by TASS with reference to the court's press secretary Irina Zhirnova.

It is clarified that the court found Yaroslav Muratov (listed as a terrorist in the Russian Federation) guilty. He was sentenced to 18 years in prison.

He will spend the first four years in prison, and the rest of his term in a high—security penal colony. The convicted person must also pay a fine of 350 thousand rubles.

Earlier that day, a resident of Tula was sentenced to 12.5 years in prison for financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). It was noted that the person involved in the case transferred money through a crypto exchange from a bank card using a mobile application.
