In three days, more than 1 million cubic meters of snow were removed from parks and forest parks in the Moscow region. This indicator has become a record for the region.

More than 1.5 thousand workers participated in the cleaning of the territories, 270 units of special equipment were involved. This is reported by the online publication "Podmoskovye Segodnya" with reference to the Ministry of Landscaping. First of all, the entrances and central alleys, as well as parking lots, are cleaned.

Large-scale snowfalls hit Moscow and the Moscow region on January 27 and 28. Ten-point traffic jams were recorded on the streets. Buses and trams traveled with significant delays. Many kilometers of traffic jams were formed due to the trucks that were skidding. On the evening of January 28, there were cases when people preferred to leave public transport and get home on the MKAD on foot. Forecasters noted that the heaviest snowfalls have already ended.
